Under Pressure

Last week, Katie and I went for the fetal anatomy ultrasound.  The results were great.  The doctor who did the ultrasound said that everything looks just fine.  No, we did not find out the gender, and don’t plan to until the baby is born.

So here is another baby photo for all to enjoy.  My dad says that they aren’t nearly as neat at this age because the baby is too big to fit entirely in one shot.  Instead, you just get a part, like a head or a leg.

So here is a cross section of the baby’s head looking straight up.

You don’t see it?  Perhaps this will help.  This photo is turned to change the perspective to how it would look if Katie were standing in front of you and facing to the left.  The baby’s head is circled in yellow.

What’s the pink circle you ask?  That would be Kate’s bladder.  That’s right, this baby is riding so low that it is literally laying on her bladder.  Now that explains why my wife spends so much time in the restroom.
