An old puppy

We spent part of this past weekend moving Christmas decorations back into the attic.  Katie also made some major progress going through items in our “storage closet” (which is actually the baby’s room).  While we were going through boxes of keepsakes and old photos, I stumbled across this old photograph:

Corky puppy

For those of you who don’t know this sweet pup, this is a picture of Corky.  She came to live with us when I was 11.  She was with us for many years, through many moves and was a wonderful dog for our family.  She left us a few years ago and is still greatly missed.

I know, this isn’t a baby update, but this picture really made me smile and I wanted to share it.  I’ve said it before… It’s hard to imagine life without a dog.

“Corky, ducks!” is one of my favorite memories.

A good photo of a sweet dog.

These days, “Corky, ducks!” has been replaced with “Rudy & Turk, SQUIRRELS!”
Same reaction, but no giant hill.

Thanks for your comment, Lyn. They are welcome and appreciated.
