Call from the doctor

Earlier this morning, I got a phone call from my dad… you know, the doctor who has delivered 7.3 million babies in his career.
He has decided that Katie will be going into labor sometime next Monday (April 20th) and the baby will be born on Tuesday (April 21st).
What does he know that the rest of us don’t?   Hmmm… Anyone care to change your bets?

I am with the good Doctor. I think that would a perfect time to come, since I have the day off on Tuesday and can come down to see BOB!!

Tell the good doctor he can not tamper with nature to make his prediction come true!

    Is Katie dilated yet?

Well… that depends on where we are and what time it is.
When we are inside and it is dark, then her eyes are very dilated. However, outside on a sunny day, her pupils contract.
    Silly question.

Uh…Bob’s not allowed to come before Wednesday. Well, maybe Tuesday after 11pm. We have an Astros game to attend; and I never leave a game early. No exceptions – not even early labor. They have mops; they know how to use them ;)

Hey- with Lola I was only dilated to 1 and was in labor and she popped out within a few hours… Was dilated to 3 for days with Milo- took his sweet time and then when contractions came- woah baby- he shot right out!

BTW- The doctor in question told his wife that Lola would be late and she was over 3 weeks early… Had crazy Braxton Hicks with Milo a week before he came (thanks to having my membranes stripped- would not recommend that) and the Grand-Doc kept telling me to go to the hospital- and recommending to have shoe laces in my car, etc- it turned out fine- His “fortune telling” may be much better with Black Jack! But on the other hand- he is there in person and wasn’t with me so who knows… maybe having the belly in his line of sight makes his predictions more accurate! He certainly sees a lot of them!
