Mr. Giraffe – a precarious gift from Susanne
Rudy, our chocolate lab, has an obsession. It is her mission in life to not only rid our backyard of furry little critters (aka squirrels), but also to destroy any other fluffy creatures inside our home. This apparently includes those of the safari kind. We have rescued Mr. Giraffe from the jaws of the big brown beast at least a half-dozen times in the last week. But Rudy is strong-willed and thick-headed. Poachers such as she do not give up easily. Therefore BOB will need to be vigilant day and night…night and day…to protect his fuzzy companions from harm.

Very cute. But just so you know, every time I see an update now, I start hopping around while it loads – wondering if it says your water broke, or you just got your epidural, or she was just born.
Too funny! You are definately going to have to keep BOB’s stuffed animals away from Rudy. I suggest getting one of those mesh baskets that you hang in the corner of the room and put all the stuffed animals you get in there for now.

That is a great photo! It has pathos, it has ethos, it has legos. (or something like that) Have you considered stuffed animals specifically for Rudy to play with? Or would that just encourage the behavior and lead to more fuzzy carnage?
