Lucy had her first official outing last night. We went to an Astros Ball Game with Ben’s parents. When we arrived, we bumped into the right guys at the right time. Two very kind souls were giving away free tickets…good tickets. We of course accepted their generous offer. We ended up sitting 5 rows back from the visitng team dugout, behind third base. What a deal!
By the way - Lucy was fantastic. She was wide awake, alert and happy for half of the time. The other part, she slept in the Baby Bjorn (infant carrier/pouch) on my chest. The noisy speakers and loud fans didn’t bother her one bit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Well, one thing lacking – the Astros lost 10-3. She is absolutely adorable and to be a baseball fan already, I am impressed. Will have to send her a Cincinnati Reds shirt:)
