Girl or Boy?
Fun “before and after” belly shots. The first is from when we first found out. The second is today.
Okay…..I made it past my due date, and my doctor is back in town! So BUD is now allowed to arrive this week. Well…..not Wednesday night….Dr. Pehr has plans to take his mother to the opera that night….but any other time this week before friday morning 
All is going well. My body is a tiny bit further along currently than I was with Lucy last time. Hopefully I get to go into labor before Friday. Otherwise, we are scheduled to be at the hospital at 6:30 am on Friday for induction. So cross your fingers that some serious contractions happen before then! Either way, we will have a new little baby in our arms by this weekend!
Does anyone have any ideas to induce labor?? Sarah – I am NOT eating mac n’ cheese with A1 sauce this time. So don’t even suggest it! I do plan on doing lots of walking, maybe yoga, continuing to go to work a little bit, maybe some yard work, and eating fire-hot “Good Night Chili” with lots of jalapenos to get things started. Any other ideas are welcome.
Also…just curious…does anyone want to share if they think boy vs. girl???? If you plan on sharing, know that it will be recorded forever in the baby book. And we’re also open to any last minute name ideas too. Just know that we like the classic names that would match with “Lucy”.
Well, that’s it for the update. I’m sure we’ll be uploading more photos in the very near future….a smaller belly, but bigger smiles!

Hopefully BUD stays put until after February 5th, Superbowl Sunday. My doctor decided it was okay for him to take vacation during my last week of pregnancy! But I have a good feeling that BUD will be late to arrive, just like Lucy was. So no worries!

Zoo Boo!
I know this is out of order, but a few weeks ago, we took Lucy to the zoo because the weather had finally cooled off. They were all decked out for halloween for thier annual Zoo Boo weekends.
Here, Ben and Lucy got a chance to feed the giraffes by hand. Lucy was amazing….not scared at all! {While writing this blog entry, Ben is insisting that I make one other point…there was “bad lighting,” and he’s really not that bald…LOL. So on that note, I’m really not that fat}.
Also, we kept bumping into Graseon, one of Lucy’s school buddies, while at the zoo. Finally, on the third chance meeting, we were in line for the train. So we decided to sit together, and the kids had a blast! They’re so adorable together!
